Last year on October 10th, A girl named Amanda Todd committed suicide due to bullying. She still gets hate messages. People say she deserved it, when she only made two little mistakes that everyone would make at least once. I believe she didn't. This is a few months too late, but it's NEVER too late to talk about this. It's a really serious matter that I'm sick of hearing about everywhere I go. This year, before our old principle left she held an assembly due to the constant bullying in our school. Sometimes, I felt that it was directed at me. I'm a victim. Although they tried, it ceased to work, for the bullying worsened. They don't understand the poor victims unless they've been through it. Which most of them most likely haven't.

They don't know anything about bullying. They don't know how bad it is now. They say to ignore it, but how can you when you're constantly being tortured?! Most kids don't do anything to deserve it, but when they do, making mistakes are meant to be what we learn from. Now we just learn to kill ourselves when it becomes difficult. Where did this come from? Bullying. Who' s fault is it if someone commits suicide? The Bullies. They egg the person on until they snap and actually do it. When those bullies realise how wrong they are, they can't apologise. Because their victim is gone. No coming back. When one person commits suicide, it affects not only their life, but their loved ones. Bullies cause heart ache, we've established that. But I have one question: How does it feel to ruin lives? Does it feel good? Sick bastards...No one, no matter what they've done, or what they've been through, deserves to die. No one.

I've had it with all of these people saying that Amanda Todd deserves what became of her. When Amanda uploaded her video with her story, about a week after, she was gone. Words are strong, they don't realise how bad they can sting and corrupt people's minds. You're all probably think "Oh, Sarah, you've talked about bullying before, just get over it and ignore them, will ya?" right? You're wrong. This topic is so important, it needs to be spoken about. It'll never get better but the least we can do is stand up for our friends who get bullied. It happens all around the world, tragic deaths of teens who get bullied. Not only face-to-face, but online too. FaceBook, Tumblr, every single website, you name it, has at least one or more cyber-bullies. Even here. I posted a photo of myself, and someone called me a whale. Then that name was said to me by people outside of the web. It shattered me.

Say what you want, but I'm NOT gonna stop talking about this and spreading the word, because I'm SICK OF IT!
